Seasoned Temp: There's the IT guy, he might know. But new hires still find a way to mess that up. I try to make things easy and give supervisors a list of all login credentials for new employees. Out of laziness, I don't force a password change at first login because it creates about twice as much work for me having to hold people's hands through the process.and they still forget the passwords they made 10 seconds ago. Part of this includes using a standardized new user password. They just showed up and it was "get them up and running now." So, I try to streamline the new user setup process as much as possible. One day, I had to set up 11 of them with no advance notice at all.
